I had an appointment at 8am and arrived at 7:45. The receptionist only allowed people with pre 8am appointment to sit inside. I had to wait in the cold with 2 others. One of the patients was coughing badly in the cold and asked to be allowed in and eventually we were allowed in but told that it is not open till 8am.

I have never known anything like it. 2 weeks later and still awaiting registration. Provided all necessary documents, was told 5 days, still nothing. Promised calls back which never happen. Everyone has a different story and today was even being spoken over by 1 rude lady. Shoddy admin team. Hope the doctors are significantly better.

I had an appointment with Doctor Felicity Parton, who is working (under the guidance) of Dr Michael Clementson. Dr Parton was working with me on possible hypertension and Dr Clementson was able to proivide his opinion as well. I felt very pleased with the level of attention I received and the follow up diagnostics I have been requested to attend. I feel that I have been in good hands. Hypertension is shockingly silent. It would be remiss of me not to mention that I have been a long term patient of Dr Clementson and Dr Martin Johnson. They and their colleagues at Parkside Group Practice have looked after myself and my family since 1990. Their practice is efficient and forward thinking and also in a very busy area of South London, which means that it is also very busy. However, the whole practice team sing from the same hymn-sheet, lecture where necessary, empathise always and provide a much needed general practition service to the local community. If the Dept of Health were wondering how much gets done and efficienty at that perhaps the Minister with that portfolio should pop in on a Monday morning: it would be most educational.

Turned up with a miserable baby at 4pm on a Thursday afternoon to see if I could book an emergency appointment, was seen within five minutes, the GP was kind, thorough, interested and helpful and treated my son straight away, and even gave a sticker to my five year old who was making a nuisance of herself! I feel very lucky to belong to such an excellent practice, thank you for your wonderful care during what are clearly very difficult times for the NHS.

Another superbly well run Flu -Vaccination Clinic this weekend. Everything was so smoothly done and so straightforward. My dad, who is disabled and can find such things a bit stressful found it all a very calm experience. Thank you and well done, again. Amy Atkinson
